Kona Surf Company was founded in 1969 by New Jersey Surfing Hall of Fame Legend Mike Sciarra. Mike began shaping surfboards on the North Shore of Hawaii during the Shortboard Revolution in the late sixties, before taking his craft to Southern New Jersey. Kona Surf Company has been shaping surfboards for 50 years in Wildwood, New Jersey.This cute little beach made it easy for sunset viewing, body surfing, swimming, or just plain people watching. Not a snorkeling spot, but has a nice strip of white sand beach. Lots of locals come to play in the water. it is quite popular. Some parking spots, but most people just park along the road.
